Fish fry(Kerala Style)

This is one of the very favourite food of my Kids as well as mine..
…So I make this often at my home…
Yesterday….When I saw these fresh King Fish steaks at the market….I simply couldnt resist
buying it…When there is a big fat fish fry (with some lime juice squeezed on it) on the plate…
i feel there is no need for any more gravy…to take with rice,….Sooo tasty…!!!!!!
You can imagine…But my hubby is more on the gravy side…so i make some gravy or curry for
him…but for me…I will be in the heaven of taste…
This fish fry goes well with rice and chapathis too..
This is a standard recipe given below…You can alter it according to your choice by adding more
of garlic or more of ginger…as u like…Adding a tsp of garam masala or even meat masala
while preapring the marinade gives a different taste…the choice is all yours…there is no hard
and fast rule…So go head a give it a try…

Ingredients:
King Fish Steaks – 5-6
Lime.

To Make into a thick paste:
Kashmiri Chilli powder – 11/2 tsp.
Ginger Garlic Paste -11/2 tsp.
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp.
Fenugreek Powder- 2 pinches.
Crushed Black Pepper – 1 tsp.
Salt
Water

Procedure:
Wash the King Fish Steaks with water and pat dry.
Now Make into a thick paste the ingredients under ” To Make into a thick paste:”.
Marinate the Fish Steaks with this Paste and keep aside for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes,Heat oil in a pan and Shallow fry the fish pieces on Low to medium Flame.
When Done ,Squeeze a piece of lime on the pieces and Serve Hot with Onion rings… and Enjoy!!
