I love guavas,specially the pink ones.They are soo sweet and fragrant.Last time,I had tried the Guava Smoothie with guava and it was a success.So this time i decided to try something different to beat the hot summer heat.So I made guava Pops!!It was my first time,trying my hand at making popsicles.But this came soo well.
Guava is a very tasty fruit,when consumed whole.But when consumed in the form of a smoothie or pop,it needs a combination wit another fruit,otherwise it tastes bland!According to my experience,guava goes very well with bananas.Very nutricious and filling.And when used as a combo with banana ,we dont loose the tropical guava flavour !So what are you waiting for?Try out my guava popsicle recipe to fight the heat!!!
Pink Guavas – 4-5 medium sized(skinned and chopped)
Banana – 1(peeled and sliced)
Milk -1 cup
Sugar – 2 tbsps
- In a Blender,blend all the above ingredients and pour the mixture into the popsicle moulds and freeze for 4 hours and Enjoy!!
To get the popsicles out of the mould,I ran hot water on the mould and gently squeezed it.Then it came off perfectly.
